Privacy policy

ByteDel ("we") runs this website to offer DevOps and cloud infrastructure services. This page explains what data we collect, why, and what you can do about it — written to be read, not to hide things.

What we collect, and why

Contact form. If you submit the form, we receive the details you enter (name, email, company website, what you need, and your message). We use them for exactly one purpose: replying to you about your inquiry. Submissions are delivered to our inbox and stored in a database on our infrastructure so your inquiry can't be lost. We keep them for as long as the conversation is relevant, and delete them on request.

Analytics. Two systems, treated differently:

  • Cloudflare Web Analytics — cookieless and anonymous. It counts page views without identifying you, storing nothing on your device. It runs for everyone.
  • Google Analytics 4 — uses cookies to understand how visitors use the site. It runs only if you accept in the consent banner. If you decline (or ignore the banner), no analytics cookies are set.

Spam protection. The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to block bots. Turnstile evaluates your browser without tracking you across sites.

What we don't do

  • We don't sell or share your data with anyone for marketing.
  • We don't run advertising trackers or social-media pixels.
  • We don't send marketing email — you hear from us only if you contacted us.

Who processes data on our behalf

Cloudflare hosts this site, routes our email, and stores form submissions (their privacy policy). Google processes analytics data if you consented (their privacy policy). Email replies go through our email provider like any normal correspondence.

Your rights

Wherever you are — and specifically under GDPR/UK GDPR if you're in the EU or UK — you can ask us what data we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] and we'll handle it within 30 days, usually much faster. You can also withdraw analytics consent anytime by clearing this site's cookies; the banner will ask again.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the date above changes with it. No silent edits.
